The Second Preparatory Meeting for ISPRS 2008 Beijing was held on March 15, 2007 in Beijing. The Local Organizing Committee for ISPRS 2008 Beijing reviewed its work in 2006. A detailed work plan for the Congress preparations in 2007 was adopted.

Mr. Song Chaozhi, Executive Vice Chairman of National Steering Committee for ISPRS 2008 Beijing and Deputy Director General of State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, attended the meeting.
