The 2nd ISPRS Summer School was held on 1-6 July 2007 in Slovenia. Representatives from the LOC for ISPRS 2008 Beijing participated in the event to gain experience for preparation and organization of the 3rd Summer School to be held in China during ISPRS 2008 Beijing.

At the Summer School in Slovenia, Prof. Emmanuel Baltsavias, ISPRS Second Vice President, gave a presentation on ISPRS 2008 Beijing. And discussions were carried out among concerned participants regarding how to organize the next Summer School in 2008 in China.
